Goal Setting for Students® Book

Goal Setting for Students

Goal Setting for Students specifically show students how to use these principles in school. When I wrote the book about goal setting, I had three goals.

    1. To teach students how to take responsibility for their education
    2. To help teachers reach their goals in the classroom
    3. To include parents in this collaborative educational experience

This unique book about goals setting has eights school oriented chapters: What is Success?, Goal Setting Principles, Samples and Practice, Investing Yourself, Measuring Your Progress, Meeting the Challenge, and Summary.

The book took 1 ½ years to write and had valuable input from over twenty-five people with advanced degrees in teaching and content design. It has received several awards and been featured on it magazines, newsletters for national and state association, and on radio talk shows.

"This goal setting book is for parents who want to show their kids
how to create a vision and then go after it - one step at a time."

- Julie Hood, Parent

Change is inevitable.

How we look at change, react to it, and learn from it differentiates us from the people around us.    We created this book because most of us have difficulty in finding the time to read a 350 page self-help book, but we want the information.  We live in an instant communications world.  Speed is the common thread.  We want bite-sized, actionable information in a format they can be implemented quickly.

This is first book in the GREAT ADVICE - No Lectures: Advice from the Front Lines of Life™ series to meet these needs. Future books will be on specific topics like relationships, business, marriage, money, etc.
