Respect Teachers January 17, 2009

Learning to "play the game" in school is a vital lesson to learning to play the game at work.  Your teacher is not always right, they are not always fair but you will encounter many people like this along the way.  You need to figure out how to work with these people and postion yourself so you win (e.g. good grades for now - good reviews in the future).  You have to realize that sometimes you may have to do things for work that are not fun that no one else wants to do. But I typically find those tasks end up turning in to positive situations.Laurie S.
